Brian Wilson shouldn't be too hard on John Major ("The truth about Honest John", 17 November). He's only trying to ensure there is going to be enough material for those students studying the new A-levels, with their discussion of moral, ethical and spiritual valueswhether appropriate or not, and introduced in what seems a rather unethical manner.
