‘Two beautiful poles’: Trump announces he’s putting up two giant flagpoles at the White House

Donald Trump has announced that he’s putting up two giant flagpoles at the White House.

The president told reporters Wednesday (23 April) he has commissioned flagpoles for new American flags that will be ‘almost a hundred feet tall’ on either side of the White House.

Trump promised the flagpoles will be “top of the line,” adding the property has needed them for “200 hundred years.”

“Paid for by Trump,” the president added.
