Telltale Games has followed up on the December release announcement of Back To The Future: The Game by offering the first of five episodes for free.
Its website automatically applies an $8.95 discount courtesy of the coupon code 121GIGAWATTS, and registrants will be emailed to let them know when Episode 1 is available for download.
All five episodes together cost $24.95, while pre-orders will be honored with a free gift of another Telltale game, Puzzle Agent, and a $1 donation to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for research into Parkinson's disease.
The game is coming out on PC and Mac first, with PlayStation 3 and iPad to follow.
Graphical adventure games are experiencing something of a surge in popularity in recent times, not least due to Telltale's own efforts with the Sam & Max and Tales of Monkey Island series, but also Machinarium (PC, Mac, Wii), Amnesia: The Dark Descent (PC, Mac), Heavy Rain (PS3), The Whispered World (PC), the Broken Sword remake (Ds, Wii), and the Professor Layton series (DS).
