Old Loughtonians, thanks to two goals from the Olympic striker Nick Thompson, convincingly won 3-1 at Teddington in the Premier Division of the National League to maintain a two-point lead with Reading at the top of the table, writes Brian Tatlock. Reading had a tougher afternoon, twice coming from behind at Surbiton to win 4-2. Reading's Olympic defender Jon Wyatt flew in from the US only a few hours before the game and scored a hat-trick.
