Sarajevo - Two French UN soldiers who went missing from a Serb-controlled suburb of Sarajevo appear to have gone over to the Serbs.

The two soldiers in their early 20s, a corporal and a private, disappeared from their post in Rajlovac, where they formed part of a UN observation mission. 'It was a deliberate attempt (to leave) on their part,' said a UN spokeswoman, 'They put pillows in their beds.' Reuter
