Camera falls out of plane, captures incredibly trippy descent, lands in the last place you would expect

A remarkable video doing the rounds this morning answers the never-posed question, what happens when a skydiver drops their camera thousands of feet in the air?

The camera, believed to be a GoPro or similar, captures the world in increasingly psychedelic fashion as it gathers speed, spinning so fast that the frame rate can't keep up and a bizarre kaleidoscopic effect is produced.

This is cut short however as it reaches the ground, landing in a pig pen of all places where one of its residents arrives to give the camera a good licking.

"Camera falls from a sky diving airplane and lands on my property in my pig pen," the uploader wrote as the video's description. "I found the camera eight months later and viewed this video."

A debate is raging (as they so often do in YouTube comments) over the video's authenticity however, with some doubting whether the camera could have survived the fall and others claiming the built-for-tough-use device would have been fine if it landed in the pen's soft mud.
