Cathy Cheesman, 34, of Dalton, Humberside, lost her High Court claim for damages after giving birth to her fourth child a year after being sterilised. The court ruled she had failed to establish that she was not warned at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary of a risk that it might not be successful.
