Rapper Fetty Wap survives road accident in New Jersey
Police have not identified the woman who was also involved in the accident

The rapper Fetty Wap survived a traffic accident in New Jersey after his motorbike was in collision with a car.
Officials said the 25-year-old was taken to hospital on Saturday afternoon. Images taken from the scene showed the rapper lying in the street hurt and for a while the hashtag #PrayforFetty trended on Twitter.
Paterson Police Director Jerry Speziale told the Associated Press that the accident remained under investigation and no summonses had been issued. The woman driving the car was not injured, and her name has not been released.
Wap, who was born Willie Maxwell, has had a lot of success in the past year with three Top-10 songs, including the hit Trap Queen, which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100. His debut album, "Fetty Wap," was released Friday.
Several hours after the accident, his friend Jhonni Blaze, from Love & Hip Hop NY, posted a photo of the singer on Instagram with a leg brace and arm wrap on. She wrote in her caption: “He’s ok.”
