A witness in a High Court libel action, brought by the former North Wales police superintendent, Gordon Anglesea, has been found hanged at his home. An inquest was told yesterday that there were no suspicious circumstances.
Mark Humphreys, 30, of Wrexham, Clwyd, was a former resident of the Bryn Estyn children's home in Wrexham. Mr Anglesea won substantial libel damages against HTV, the Independent on Sunday, the Observer and Private Eye, over allegations of sexual abuse atBryn Estyn.
