Doctors have protested to the Government about the 'unhindered promotion' of tobacco products by British Airways. A letter in the British Medical Journal points out that in BA's In Flight magazine, tobacco advertisements carry no health warnings, even on domestic flights, and that tax-free tobacco products are advertised on all flights without warnings. Airline and shipping magazines are exempt from the voluntary agreement to carry health warnings. BA argues that no laws are being broken.
