Kanye West takes break from tweeting about trees to call for Bob Dylan collaboration
It wasn't immediately clear what form the collaboration would take
Apropos nothing, Kanye West has reached out to Bob Dylan in the hope that the two musicians can put their heads together.
West has spent most of the last three days tweeting pictures and videos of trees, having apparently been inspired by a trip to a Miami botanical garden.
He took a break from the arboreal last night though, writing: “Calling out to Bob Dylan Let’s get together” (sic).
It wasn’t immediately clear what form the collaboration might take, and you have to imagine anything is on the table, from music to the designing of a shoe to the simple trading of ideas.
A tweet may not be the best way to reach Dylan however, who does have an account on the social network but it is run by his team.
West frequently calls for creative unions via public tweet. Earlier this year, he announced that he would like to meet up with Apple CEO Tim Cook as he “has some ideas”, though it is not clear if the pair ever got it together.
